What is the Export and Import Dispatch?
The import and export office gathers all the services and professional activities related to customs. It is the bureaucratic process with which the entry and exit of goods from one country to another takes place.
Specifically, meaning the set of formalities and controls through which goods pass, with the main objective that the authorities and Public Administrations determine the process as legal and controlled.
Stages of the Import and Export Dispatch process
Contact with the Freight Forwarder: any client who has the need to import or export goods from or to a country must contact a Freight Forwarder. Click here if you need to contact a Freight Forwarding Agent.
Relation between the Freight Forwarder and the Customs Agency: all the bureaucratic procedures are put in place so that the merchandise can pass through customs taking into account the measures and controls established by each State.
Authorization of the Customs for the release: The customs authorities authorize the release of merchandise so that they can undertake their exit to the country or zone of destination.
Transport of goods: the merchandise is sent by air, sea or land.
Reception of the goods: the local Customs Agent will process the bureaucracy to later send the packages to the warehouse points of each of the applicant companies.
